Working with Sunderland Culture, we commissioned photographer Andy Martin to produce portraits of Young Musicians Project members. They are inspired by the portraits of the Sunderland Musicians Collective (SMC) who met at The Bunker in Sunderland in 1980s. You can see the pictures, here.

The portraits were displayed in Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens’ Art Lounge, to accompany the “Paint the Town in Sound” exhibition, which explores the links between art and music.
