Targeted Projects
We work with children, young people and families facing challenging circumstances, embedding music-making through long-term partnerships with organisations including WWIN and More Than Grandparents.
We create participant-led spaces where young people build confidence, connect with others, tell their stories and experience the difference music can make in their lives
Thrive Project with WWIN
Thrive Project is a long-term partnership between WWIN and We Make Culture. The organisations have been working together to explore the impact of embedding music-making activities in domestic abuse settings.
The aim of the project is to create positive, hopeful experiences for children, young people and mothers who have survived domestic abuse and to utilise the wellbeing boost that music-making can bring.
Kinship Creativity with More than Grandparents
Kinship Creativity is a long-term partnership between More than Grandparents, and We Make Culture.
Over this time, we have used music and creativity to support emotional development, self-expression and promote wellbeing.
We are grateful to Youth Music, National Lottery Community Fund and Shears Foundation for supporting this work.
